Developing new tools and techniques for Drosophila genetics research
A main mission of our lab is to develop methods and resources and make them as accessible as possible for the research community. As part of the Gene Disruption project, we generate and implement new genetic tools and resources to conduct in depth functional analysis of gene function.
Using Drosophila melanogaster for diagnosis and research of human rare diseases
Our lab takes part in the Model Organism Screening Center to address challenges in rare disease diagnosis and research using Drosophila genetic tool box
